I WAS THE ONE

I WAS THE ONE was made possible when Launchpad Reading, a charity focused on providing support for people with a history of homelessness, secured a grant from the Big Lottery Fund. The main aim of the film was to get beneficiaries of the charity involved with the film making process. Everyone you see in the film, aside from the two lead actors, are either employees of the charity or people who have directly benefited from it’s work.
